Today, I want to talk about my photo studio. You know, when I left France to move in Pennsylvania with my husband, I quit my job. I was self-employed as a food photography. I love this. It’s my dream job. For a few years, I built up a whole collection of food props with so many things. When we left, we had only four suitcases with clothes, some books and that’s all. We couldn’t make a real move with container. It was too much.
So when I came, I had nothing to work. Just my camera. All my light, food props and accessories are in France. I had nothing here. Since four months, I try to find some food prop. I take my time. But the very great stuff is my new light! I would like to upgrade my work and I choose a really pro flash light. I love it so much! I’ve had it since last week. I used it for this shoot. What do you like?
We moved together for my husband’s work but I hope to find my place in what I love : food photography. I will try to find work and continue to be passioned.
I really like this recipe. I always try to have a slightly healthier recipe. Comfort food is great but it’s pretty cool to stay in general in healthy condition. I added whole wheat flour in it. I made half regular flour half whole wheat. Actually, it was very good in this way!
I think it’s the moment to cook with strawberries! They are very inexpensive. I bought 2lb for 4$ at Wegmans. It’s really nothing! In this scones, it’s the plus for a perfect taste.
Hope you will like it, let me a comment!
