I love chocolate, isn’t it the best thing in this world? Chocolate is sweet, comforting and actually very healthy in its natural form. Today, I want to share with you a healthy recipe with chocolate. Of course, you can make brownies (best cake ever) or you can use cacao powder and making something very healthy.
A few weeks ago, I have been contacted by Healthworks. This brand sells healthy and delicious products on their website. They proposed me to send me some products a create a recipe if I like them. This is a small collaboration. I’m not paid for this post, but I really love that kind of food and it’s a pleasure for me to create a recipe.
You can make so many recipes with cocoa powder! But I said to myself, why not homemade granola with superpower! I don’t often snack but sometimes I love to eat something sweet, just like that. And after my running, I love to have a little sweet thing to boost my energy. This granola is the perfect food for that. I put it in a small container and I take it with me.
Why this granola has superpowers?
Every ingredient I used for this recipe is healthy. First of all, oatmeal is excellent. Oat is a good source of fiber, magnesium, and iron. It’s also rich with antioxidants, great for your skin. The presence of fibers reduces cholesterol levels and blood sugar.
Chia seeds are also very rich with fibers and protein. These things could help you to lose weight. Not bad, right? You will have lots of omega 3 with it.
While cacao powder reduces high blood pressure and may lower your risk of a heart attack. The polyphenols in it will improve your blood flow and helps your brain function.
Finally, coconut oil and agave syrup are also good for your health. Coconut oil is good fat, it could increase fat burning and reduces your hunger. Agave syrup has a low glycemic index.

Description
Very healthy chocolate granola, few ingredient, simple to make and delicious. It will be your favorite snack!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup old fashioned oat
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 1/2 tbsp Healthworks cacao powder
- 1/3 cup slivered almonds
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 3 tbsp raw agave syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 390°F.
- Pour all the ingredients in a big bowl, mix everything. Place the preparation on a baking sheet and place in the oven for 12 minutes.
- Then, let it cool and break this big piece of granola in a smaller one. Pour in a jar. You can keep it at least 2 weeks.
