This lucuma smoothie is a superpower breakfast or post-workout snack. It is made with banana, mango and lucuma powder, rich in antioxidants and lots of benefits. This smoothie bowl is ready in 10 minutes!
A few years ago, smoothies were my favorite breakfast! I ate that every morning! It was healthy, simple, quick and very delicious. The principal ingredient was always banana (of course) and I added every fruit I had at the period. My favorite was blueberry or berries in general, rich in antioxidants and sweet.
It’s a bit different now. Smoothies are not the perfect breakfast when I run, I don’t feel full and one hour after it, I’m super hungry. I still love it but I prefer them during the weekend or a relaxing day. When I run, I love a consistency breakfast like my overnight chia, it’s the best!
However, smoothies are fabulous! They are rich in vitamins, fibers, minerals, and protein if you like to add some. Today, I want to share with you a superpower lucuma smoothie! The basis is made with banana and mango but I added lucuma powder from Health Works.
Why lucuma powder is amazing?
Are you ready to learn more about lucuma? Because it’s very awesome. First, lucuma improves the quality of your hair and your skin. It supports digestion and blood sugar and it is high in antioxidants, they act as an anti-aging. Lucuma supports cardiovascular health and aids in muscle recovery, this smoothie is the perfect post-workout smoothie! But that’s not all! It promotes strong teeth, improves eye health and lucuma is anti-inflammatory. I think Lucuma smoothie will be your new favorite snack/breakfast!
How do you prefer your smoothie? Personally, I love to have it in a bowl (the famous smoothie bowl), I add some topping like chia seeds, homemade granola, fruits and my favorite: goji berries. Sometimes, I also like it as a drink with an avocado toast! Very very delicious. Tell me more about your favorite smoothie and topping! I hope you will love this delicious recipe, have a wonderful day!Print
Simple and delicious smoothie with lucuma.
- Place the frozen banana (cut into pieces) in a blender, my favorite is the Ninja Blender, add the mango, lucuma powder and plant-based milk. Mix. Start with push, then medium then high. When it’s homogeneous, serve in a bowl.
- For the topping, dust with chia seeds and granola, cut in slices a kiwi and place it on the top.
