As you know, I love peach and the end is a little closer every day. Peaches are still at the supermarket but the time is short now! It’s time to buy some peaches!
I love salad, I make salads almost every day! It’s my favorite lunch, healthy, quick and of course, delicious! Because peaches are good, I wanted to make a salad with them. You can make my peach salsa and eat it in a salad but here, it’s different. In this grilled peach salad, you have big pieces of peaches and avocado. Great taste and a real meal!
I decided to grill peach because, at the end of summer, it’s still warm, we want to take time outside and especially around a barbecue, right? You can grill peaches on your barbecue and using this salad as a barbecue side! I’m sure it will be perfect with grilled chicken if you are a meat-eater. If you are adventurous, you can also try to grill your avocado pieces! I’ve never tried this but it looks great!
If you are vegetarian and you want something more consistent, add quinoa to this salad, it will be very nice. I love feta, it’s one of my favorite salad toppings so I added some to this salad.
The dressing is also very important! A good dressing can make a simple salad an amazing salad. Today, I wanted something sweet to accompany peaches. I made a honey dressing with olive oil and some apple cider vinegar (also very healthy). For the extra taste, I wished to add almonds. They add some crunchy. To make a good salad, it’s always great to mix the textures like sweet, creamy and crunchy.

- Cut the peaches in slices. Heat on high a non-stick grill frying pan*. When it’s hot, place the peaches pieces on a side, let it grill for 3 minutes, then return them with a kitchen clamp.
- Cut the avocado in slices. Mix in a bowl the honey, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil.
- To serve, you can mix everything in a big salad bowl or serve on each plate. Place the arugula, peaches and avocado slices. Sprinkle with feta cheese and almonds and drizzle with the honey dressing. Salt and pepper. Serve!
*If you have a garden and a barbecue, I advise you to do grill the peaches on it! More fun!
